After struggling for years with my weight, I decided that the best way to motivate myself was to share my journey with others. This means brutal honesty, folks, and you'll probably learn more about me than you ever needed to know. :D My story is not any different than all the other people out struggling with the same thing, but I'm going to show myself, and you, that this is possible. And I'm gonna document every moment to prove it.

Struggling with the same thing? Want to share your journey?

Aerobics....&*$@#! so sore. Like so incredibly sore that my stomach hurts when I laugh and I have to roll out of bed like an old woman. Basically my first aerobics class kicked my ass.

I liked the teacher though, she's really nice and helpful and I've found an overwhelming amount of support from classmates I'd never met before. Kindness from strangers as we all struggle to keep up (some of us struggling harder than others). And I have to admit, as much as I'm lying in bed, dreading going to said aerobic class, that I also found it fun and helpful.

I'm going to keep going. Exercise always gets easier over time. Root for me!

  1. I know that feeling when your stomach is just in so much pain from laughing (pilates, it's a killer). I'm glad you're sticking it out though.
